Amalina leads the TMT portfolio at Darussalam Assets, the investment holding arm of Brunei’s government-linked companies (GLCs). Throughout her career and having held directorships across various GLCs, she has overseen company turnarounds, sector restructurings and strategy implementations. Darussalam Assets owns all the telco GLCs and as shareholder representative, over the past 5 years, she has led the Brunei ICT sector restructuring to consolidate all telco infrastructure in the country into one entity. The subsequent next step is to drive the innovation that can leverage on the improved infrastructure that has resulted from the sector transformation.
