Rob has over 25 years’ experience in the telecoms industry within APAC, including numerous leadership roles across all aspects of marketing, channel management, product management, business development & sales.
The vast majority of Rob’s career has been focused around the Mobility space. He is currently responsible for leading all customer engagement marketing programs for Ericsson across Australia/New Zealand, South East Asia and India. In this capacity, Rob works closely with key operators throughout the region as they build & execute their technology, business & marketing strategies relating to next generation networks including 5G, IoT, digital services & customer experience.
Prior to joining Ericsson, Rob spent over 13 years with mobile device vendors BlackBerry and HTC, across the ANZ & APAC regions driving the development & execution of marketing, channel strategy, business development and go to market in the role of Marketing Director.
Rob has also previously held numerous marketing, product, segment & channel management roles with Telstra over an 11-year period including as GM, Messaging where he executed pioneering and exponential revenue growth strategies across the SMS, MMS, unified communications, mobile email, premium services, content & applications portfolio’s.
Rob has completed both an undergraduate marketing degree (with honours) and post graduate diploma in electronic commerce.
