Shasi has been with Axiata Group of companies (Axiata) since 2014 and is currently the Head of Group Synergy & Digitisation. His responsibilities include supporting Axiata Group in driving its Digitisation Strategy to realise its ambition of becoming a Digital Telco. 
He started his career with Maxis, Malaysia in 1996 as a network optimization engineer and has since worked in the telecommunications industry across Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Axiata, he worked for Malaysia’s Sovereign Wealth Fund, Khazanah Nasional. 
Shasi holds a B.Eng (Electrical & Electronics) from University of Leicester, UK and a MBA from Melbourne Business School, Australia. He is also a certified Prince2® Practitioner, an ICAgile Coach and Team Facilitator as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA).
